My dorm life of university is too wonderful for me. Convenient, safe, and cheap. Although , I lost a little of freedom and secret. A safe environment sets my mind at rest so that I can concentrate on studying. The dorm’s internet is greatly speedy, and playing online games is very smooth. The key point is greatly cheap. There restaurant and convenience store in the dorm. 7-11 almost discounts their goods. But, it doesn’t open from 0 to 24.

I think that a curfew is necessary for women students. After all, it’s too dangerous for women to wander outside in the middle of the night. Luckily, I get along with my roommates. When we have free time, we chat about foods, school works, activities, and interests etc.



I want to live in the dorm next year, because I can meet many new friends here. It’s convenient to discuss anything. I like the dorm’s simple and safety. I feel comfortable when I live in the dorm.

I usually use my cell phone to make contact with my family once or twice a week. I seldom call my family, because I think that no news is good news. Moreover, outlays for cell phones are too expensive. I have a trouble about cell phones' numbers. Cell phones’ phone book is too convenient, so I always forget telephone numbers. The telephone numbers are too long, too. If my cell phone lost or damaged, I will become insane.

Many people are fond of online chat. Speedy, convenient, simple, and free.As long as there are internet and communication software, then you can do online chat. Moreover, installing a microphone, then you can Voice Chat; installing a web cam, then you can see the other side. I usually use MSN to make contact with my friends. I always keep my MSN open, even if I don’t want to chat. I often look over my friends’ states, and I can get much information about them. For example, their moods, what they are busy at,and activities of class etc.

MSN is more and more fun. Now you can use it to send animations, insert dynamic pictures in your words, and draw a colored picture. Sadly, the pictures drew by MSN can’t retain. MSN have new function-sound recording message. MSN records sounds by microphone, then it transforms them into a voice file, so we can send or save it.

I want to train my family to use MSN. We can use MSN to make contact with each other, and then we can save much expenses on cell phone.
